Learning Topology

I'm learning all about the magical world of topology!

This is using the Quad Draw function in Maya. While the topology may not be the best... it's a start! The eyes are kinda BSed because I'm going to have a mask that covers up his eyes/ears. I'm probably going to go in an optimize whats there anyways.

The head will eventually be baked down with my high-poly sculpt.

Handpainted Floor

It was tedious... but incredibly relaxing!

One day I will achieve the ability of Diablo 3's environment art team!

Fire!! AHHHHH!

Particle Effect Highlights!


I'm slowly becoming obsessed with particles. I'd just like to point out some of my favorite particles every designed... EVER.

Let's take a look at Syndra first...

Her orbs in particular are what get me. It's like she is conjuring dark matter.

Next up is her new water Skin's VFX:

How about THEM Particles?! I'm super excited about the release of this skin. The particles are so well done and layered nicely.
